CW Enerji Adds to Its Strength with New Aluminium Frame Production Facility
  • As one of the leading companies in the renewable energy sector, CW Enerji continues to take strategic steps toward sustainable growth. The company has launched a new production facility in the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone to manufacture the aluminum frames used in its solar panels in-house.
  • The official opening ceremony of the facility was held with the participation of CW Enerji employees. With this step, CW Enerji has significantly increased its independence in production processes and strengthened its competitive power in the sector.

As a pioneer in the renewable energy sector, CW Enerji continues its investments with a focus on sustainable growth. In this context, adding another investment to its portfolio, the company has commissioned a new production facility in the 2nd section of the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone to manufacture the aluminum frames used in solar panels. The official opening of the facility was celebrated together with its employees.

Speaking at the opening, CW Enerji Chairman of the Board Tarık Sarvan emphasized that they have taken another critical step in solar panel production, stating: “We are proud and delighted to launch our new factory, where we will produce the aluminum frame profiles and structural connection components used in solar panels in-house. This facility, which employs approximately 200 people and has a monthly aluminum profile processing capacity of 1,000 tons, will produce solar panel frames and infrastructure systems. By producing the aluminum frames—which play a critical role in the durability and efficiency of solar panels—within our own structure, we have elevated our quality standards to the highest level. Equipped with modern machinery and equipment, our new production facility manufactures aluminum frames in line with high-quality standards. With this investment, we aim to enhance our competitive power not only in Türkiye but also in international markets. Every day, we continue to work toward producing more locally manufactured and more nationally developed solar panels.”

Targeting the production of 4 million solar panel frames annually

Sarvan stated that the aluminum frame production facilities contribute both to the renewable energy sector and to the national economy, adding that CW Aluminum, with its 6-inch and 8-inch press extrusion machines, has an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons of aluminum profiles. He continued: “This facility was established to improve the quality of our solar panels, achieve a higher rate of domestic production, and increase our independence. We now produce our own frames, mounting brackets, and other aluminum components in-house. The frames of our solar panels, clamping systems, mounting brackets, and infrastructure materials for tile and trapezoidal roofs are all produced in this facility. This enables us to deliver complete and integrated products for solar power plants. Our production line is fully automated, and our products are processed without human touch from the point they enter the factory until they are packaged. This is a major step in terms of quality and efficiency. With this investment, we aim to contribute to the development of the renewable energy sector, increase our domestic production power, and add value to the national economy. We believe this new factory will bring great benefits to the CW Enerji family, to Antalya, to our country, and to the renewable energy sector.”

Sarvan also noted that the facility, which will meet a significant portion of CW Enerji’s demand, aims to produce 4 million frames annually. He added that the aluminum alloys used in production are coded as N6060, N6063, N6000, N6082, and N7075, and that all products are manufactured in compliance with TSS and ISO911 standards, enhancing their competitive advantage in both local and international markets.

Strengthening our production chain while reducing external dependency

“Being able to produce our own frames, mounting brackets, and aluminum components at CW Aluminum is not only a strategic gain for our company but also for our sector and our country,” said Sarvan, continuing: “With these steps, taken under an approach that prioritizes domestic production, we will reduce Türkiye’s dependence on foreign energy technologies and contribute to our national energy initiative. We adopt a holistic approach in R&D, engineering, and production to increase the domestic content in solar panel manufacturing. At CW Enerji, we base all our investments on sustainability, efficiency, and the effective use of domestic resources. Today, we are not only a company that produces energy but also one that develops technology and manufactures the systems and components that enable this energy. This allows us to strengthen our production chain and reduce external dependency. With our CW Aluminum facility, we are raising the localization rate in solar panel production day by day.”
