She won the gold medal at the European Wrestling Championships in Budapest, the capital of Hungary.
Yasemin Adar, who has become the symbol of women's wrestling, successfully represented our country in the organisation and took the top step of the rostrum.
Expressing their pleasure to sponsor our national athlete Yasemin Adar, Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, said: ‘Adar, who made her name in Türkiye at the European Championships held in Riga, the capital of Latvia in 2016, brought our country the first gold medal in women's wrestling. Yasemin, who opened a new page in Turkish women's wrestling, has written her name at the top of Europe 4 times in a row. She succeeded to be at the top of the world and became the first female Turkish wrestler to become the world champion at the World Championship held in Paris. She also won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. Finally, she made us proud by winning the gold medal at the European Wrestling Championship.’
