MMO Antalya Branch President Ayşen Hamamcıoğlu and Board Members visited Antalya company CW Enerji Mühendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, which managed to enter the ISO 500 list from 408th place in net sales, and congratulated them for their success.
Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) Antalya Branch President Ayşen Hamamcıoğlu, Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Atmaca, Branch Secretary Şenay Demiralay visited CW Enerji Mühendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi. CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz and CW Enerji Board of Directors Representative Nihan Demirtaş were hosted by the company and mechanical engineers were also present during the visit. MMO Antalya Branch President Hamamcıoğlu congratulated Antalya company CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz, who managed to enter the ISO 500 ranking of ‘Türkiye's 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises’ made by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Commerce to identify the largest organisations in the field of industrial activity in Türkiye, from the 408th place in net sales, for the success of their company.
Speaking at the visit, MMO Antalya Branch President Ayşen Hamamcıoğlu stated that the ISO 500 study announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry is important in terms of objectively revealing the place that Türkiye's industry has reached and said, ‘Our companies that made it to the list are our companies that have been successful worldwide in global competition, making our city proud. We cannot be proud of them enough. In addition, the fact that CW Enerji ranked 408th in net sales in the list, which was entered for the first time this year, is a great success for our city and our country. We congratulate you for your success.’
CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz thanked MMO Antalya Branch President Ayşen Hamamcıoğlu and Board Members for their visit. Yılmaz stated that they are proud to be included in the list of Türkiye's largest industrial enterprises according to net sales and net sales from production in 2017 and said, ‘The fact that our company is on this list is a proud result for both us and Antalya. We have been climbing the steps of success step by step since the day we were founded by working hand in hand with our employees.’
Stating that the right investment and innovation are the biggest factors in success, CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz said, ‘The success of our companies is the result of planned programmed work, right investments and the use of modern technology. We attach importance to innovation and technological innovations. We share our earnings with our employees and increase employment in our city day by day. We are taking firm steps towards the future with more than a thousand employees.’
Volkan Yılmaz stated that CW Enerjiwill increase its panel production capacity of 420 MW to 1 GW / year solar panel 500 MW / year cell production capacity with new factory investments of 125 million liras by evaluating the demand in the domestic and foreign markets.
Noting that they decided to build a new factory especially due to the increasing demand from abroad, Yılmaz said: ‘Our new factory is about to be completed. It will start production in the third quarter of this year. We have commitments abroad, for which we are working day and night. We still have projects in the domestic and foreign markets. We export to 13 countries. In order to go abroad, we need to focus on large-scale products. Our new factory with a production capacity of 1 GW will be the largest in Europe. Hopefully, with the new investment, we will support large investors abroad from Türkiye. With the new factory, we aim to increase the number of countries we export to approximately 40.’
Underlining that they are growing day by day as a company, CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz said, ‘As we grow, our employment grows. We currently employ 552 personnel with SSI within CW Enerji. Together with subcontractors, we work with a thousand people. There are 100 engineers working in our company, mainly in the fields of technology, R&D, P&D, design, project management and production, and one out of every 10 employees is an engineer. Our number of mechanical engineers alone is 15. 50 per cent of our 552 personnel employment is made up of women. With the commissioning of our new factory, we aim to increase our employment number from one thousand to two thousand people.’
