Tarık Sarvan Performed Technical Maintenance at the Commissioned Power Plant

CW Enerji Chairman of the Board of Directors Tarık Sarvan, on behalf of himself, inspected the 800 kWp solar power plant commissioned in 2016 in Kışla village of Elmalı district of Antalya province and carried out technical maintenance of the power plant.

Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji , Türkiye's leading solar panel manufacturer, made inspections at the 800 kWp solar power plant, which he commissioned on behalf of himself in the village of Kışla, Elmalı District of Antalya Province in June 2016 in accordance with the Unlicensed Electricity Generation Regulation in the Electricity Market No. 28783 dated 02.10.2013. Tarık Sarvan carried out the technical maintenance of the power plant with his own hands.

In the 800 kWp SPP project named SÜME, 3200 CWT 250-60P brand model panels manufactured by CW Enerji and 26 ABB TRIO 27,6-TL-OUTD-S2X-406-, 1 ABB, TRIO 20,0-TL-OUTD- inverters were used. This SPP project, in whichCWEnerji carried out panel supply, engineering and EPC (implementation) as the contractor company, was completed in 36 days and commissioned on 21 June 2016.

The completed project, with its 800 kWp capacity, is able to meet the electricity of an average of 700 households per year with renewable energy and supports the reduction of 930 tonnes of CO2, 2.8 tonnes of SO2 and 1.1 tonnes of NOx gas emissions per year. While the 800 kWp solar power plant is expected to pay for itself in an average of 6 years, 13.3$/cent income can be obtained for each surplus kWp of electricity produced in the power plant.

‘SOLAR PARADISE ELMALI’

Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji , who made statements after the technical maintenance of the solar power plant, underlined that Antalya is a sun city and said, ‘Especially our Elmalı district is one of the areas we describe as a solar paradise. Because the sunbathing time is important for us, but it is even more important that the air is cool and as humidity-free as possible with the sun. As you know, Elmalı is a place with a lot of cold storages and as CW Enerji, we have made serious investments in Elmalı in the field of photovoltaic solar energy. SÜME SPPis one of these investments. In Elmalı, many cold storages now generate 100% of their electricity from the sun and sell their surplus electricity and receive electricity money from the state every month. Photovoltaic solar energy systems are a very clean, almost maintenance-free, non-polluting energy production technology that does not pollute the environment and does not disrupt the texture of nature. We hope that the whole world will meet with an environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge, and we hope to see a solar power plant on the roof of 1 out of every 3 houses in our country.’
