SPP Investor Ünal Visited Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji

Ömer Ünal, the owner of Ömer Ünal Cold Storage, where a solar power plant was installed on the roof of his factory by Türkiye's leading solar panel manufacturer CW Enerji , thanked Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, for introducing them to an environmentally friendly, unlimited and free source of clean energy such as the sun.

Ömer Ünal, the owner of the roof type solar power plant (SPP) , which was installed on the roof of Ömer Ünal Cold Storage in Elmalı district of Antalya province in 2014 by CW Enerji , the leading solar panel manufacturer of the solar energy sector, visited Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji. Ömer Ünal thanked Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, for introducing them to an environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge.

The 310 kWp On-Grid rooftop solar power plant, which was installed by CW Enerji on the roof of Ömer Ünal Cold Storage in Elmalı, Antalya in May 2014, continues to generate electricity with 93 per cent performance. Temporary acceptance of the310 kWp rooftop solar power plant, which uses 1040 solar energy panels ofCW ENERJİ/CWT250-60P model and 11 inverters of ABB, TRIO 27,6-TL-OUTD-S2X-405 brand model, was made in 2014, and CW Enerji carried out project design, engineering, panel supply and EPC (implementation) as the contractor company in the project. Completed in the first quarter of 2014, the 310 kWp rooftop SPP project is the first rooftop solar power plant to be constructed in Türkiye in 2014.

Ömer Ünal, the owner of Ömer Ünal Cold Storage, who has met approximately 40 per cent of the electricity of his factory from the solar panels on the roof of his factory for 4 years, visited CW Enerji Chairman Tarık Sarvan at his company and thanked him for introducing them to an environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge.

Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, thanked Ömer Ünal for his visit and reminded that their company, which was established in 2010, has commissioned more than 300 MW of solar power plant projects in Türkiye so far. Tarık Sarvan said, ‘We have not experienced any problems in one of our solar power plant projects that we have completed so far. All of them continue to produce electricity without any problems. As a country, our solar energy potential is large enough to meet many times more than our total electrical energy need. As CW Enerji, we want to further popularise the photovoltaic sector in Türkiye with the serious investment moves we have made and continue to reveal this potential.’
