‘Osmaniye's GES from CW Enerji’

The provisional acceptance of the land type solar power plant (SPP), which was installed by CW Enerji, the leading solar panel manufacturer in the solar energy sector, in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye province with a power of 5,400 kWp, was made on 26 December 2017. In the project, panel, contractor company, engineering, EPC were carried out by CW Enerji.

20000 solar energy panels with CW ENERJİ/CWT270-60P model and 125 inverters with HUAWEI SUN2000-36KTL brand model produced by HUAWEI were used for the 5,400 kWp land type SPP installed on a land in Kadirli district of Osmaniye province. On 26 December 2017, the provisional acceptance of the SPP project was made and CW Enerji, as the contractor company, completed the land SPP project in 56 days by performing both engineering and EPC (implementation). Panel, contractor company, engineering, EPC (Application) were carried out by CW Enerji. The solar power plant built on the investor's land is expected to pay for itself within an average of 6 years. The investor will be able to obtain 13,3$/cent for each surplus kW from the electricity produced in the solar power plant on its land.

A 5,400 kWp solar power plant generates an average of 22,550 kWe of electricity per day. With the full capacity of the power plant, it is planned to generate an average of 8,212,500 kWe/year of electricity. With a 5,400 kWp SPP project, the electricity of an average of 4,725 households per year can be met with renewable energy and an average of 6280 tonnes of CO2, 18.9 tonnes of SO2 and 7.02 tonnes of NOx gas emissions can be reduced annually with the electricity generated.

Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, which operates in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, stated that they carried out a meticulous work in the land SPP project in Kadirli district of Osmaniye province and said, ‘An environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge, should be used to the fullest. As a country, our solar energy potential is large enough to meet many times more than our total electrical energy needs. As CW Enerji , we want to further popularise the photovoltaic sector in Türkiye with the serious investment moves we have made and continue to reveal this potential.’

CW Enerji is Türkiye's domestic solar panel manufacturer and Europe's largest solar panel production facility. In the first 4 months of 2018, the company plans to make production worth 20 million dollars in its new factories in the 1st section of AOSB with its new investments. At the beginning of 2018, they aim to reach a capacity of 920 MW/year with the additional investments they will make and to produce as the solar panel manufacturer with the largest capacity in the Middle East. Together with its existing factories,CW Enerji aims to provide world-class service with an area of 60 thousand square metres in Antalya. The company, which wants to increase the employment of one thousand people to 2 thousand people, wants to canalise 50 percent of its investments to exports. CW Enerji, which exports especially to Europe, USA and African countries, has no equivalent in the world for its patented products.
