The provisional acceptance of the 4963.98 kWp land-based solar power plant built by Turkey’s leading solar panel manufacturer CW Energy in the Kırkağaç district of Manisa province was made.
The provisional acceptance of the 4963.98 kWp land-based solar power plant (SPP) installed by the leading solar panel manufacturer CW Energy in the Kırkağaç district of Manisa province was made on December 18, 2017. The panel, contractor, engineering, and EPC (Implementation) were carried out by CW Energy in the project.
CW Energy installed the 4963.98 kWp land-based solar power plant on a land in the Kırkağaç district of Manisa province in accordance with the Regulation No. 28783 dated 02.10.2013 on Unlicensed Electricity Production in the Electricity Market. In the Solar Power Plant, 18732 solar energy panels with the brand model CW ENERJİ/CWT265-60P produced by CW Energy and 153 inverters with the brand model HUAWEI SUN2000-KTL33 produced by HUAWEI were used. In the GES project, which was delivered as a turnkey on September 03, 2017 and provisionally accepted on December 18, 2017, CW Energy completed the land GES project in 46 days by performing both engineering and EPC (implementation) as the contractor company. The panel, contractor company, engineering, EPC (implementation) were done by CW Energy. While it is expected that the solar energy plant built on the investor's land will pay for itself in an average of 6 years, 13.3$/cent can be obtained for each excess kW of electricity produced in the solar energy plant.
It is anticipated that an average of 22,337.91 kWh of electricity will be produced per day in a 4963.98 kWp solar power plant, and an average of 8,153,337.15 kWh/year with the full capacity of the plant. With the 4963.98 KWp solar power plant installation, the electricity of an average of 4,375 households per year can be met with renewable energy, and with the electricity produced, an average of 5,815 tons of CO2, 17.5 tons of SO2 and 6.5 tons of NOx gas emissions can be reduced per year.
Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, operating in the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone, stated that they are continuing a meticulous work on the land solar power plant project in the Kırkağaç district of Manisa province, and said, “A source that is environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free, should be utilized to the fullest. As a country, our solar energy potential is large enough to meet many times more than our total electrical energy needs alone. As CW Enerji, we want to further expand the photovoltaic sector in Turkey with the serious investment moves we have made and continue to reveal this potential,” he said.
CW Enerji is Turkey’s domestic solar panel manufacturer and Europe’s largest solar panel production facility. The company plans to produce 20 million dollars in its new factories in the 1st section of AOSB with its new investments in the first 4 months of 2018. They aim to reach a capacity of 920 MW/year with the additional investments they will make at the beginning of 2018 and to produce as the solar panel manufacturer with the largest capacity in the Middle East. CW Enerji aims to provide world-class service with an area of 60 thousand square meters in Antalya together with its current factories. The company, which wants to increase the employment they provide to a thousand people to 2 thousand people, wants to channel 50 percent of its investments to exports. CW Enerji, which exports especially to European, US and African countries, has no equivalent in the world to the products it has patented.
