Varnet, which produces glass greenhouses for soilless agriculture, built a glass greenhouse system that produces its own energy with CW Enerji solar panels.
CW Enerji installed a solar power plant (SPP) in the glass greenhouse of Varnet, the only company in our country that produces glass greenhouses for soilless agriculture. With the 10 kW self-consumption solar power plant installed on the glass greenhouse, the energy of the greenhouse is provided from the sun. The energy of the glass greenhouses, which are built with aluminium alloy that can be completely recycled, is taken from the sun and a minimum carbon footprint is aimed in nature.
CW Enerji, which produces solar panels in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, provides services in the fields of investment and technical consultancy, project design, system design, power plant installations, license acquisition and operation of solar power plants (SPP), as well as project planning, project design, finance and implementation and general maintenance in accordance with the unlicensed generation regulation. In addition to industrial installations, it also offers solutions for domestic roof installations. CW Enerji, which has 17 years of experience in the sector and has climbed the steps of success one by one since its establishment, has now GES'd the glass greenhouse of Varnet, the only company in our country that produces glass greenhouses for soilless agriculture, located in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone. In the 10 kW SPP project, 30 CW Enerji / TT 375 - 72 PM solar panels manufactured by CW Enerji and 1 Goodwe 10 kW three-phase inverter were used.
With the 10 kW SPP installation, the electricity of an average of 87 households can be met with renewable energy and an average of 11.63 tonnes of CO2, 35 kg SO2 and 13 kg NOx gas emissions can be reduced annually. The 10 kW solar power plant is planned to generate an average of 50.85 kWp of electricity per day and 18562.25 kWp of electricity per year.
Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors ofCW Enerji Mühendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi AŞ, stated that this project for Turkish agriculture is very pleasing and said, ‘An environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge, should be utilised to the fullest. The solar energy potential in the world is so large that it can meet many times more than our total electrical energy need. As CW Enerji, we want to further popularise the photovoltaic sector in Türkiye with the serious investment moves we have made and continue to reveal this potential.’
Varnet representative Anvar Kurshidov said that their company produces modern greenhouses for soilless agriculture, which are fully managed by automation, and builds them on a turnkey project basis, and stated that they design their products for ‘harvesting maximum quantity and quality with minimum operating cost’ in terms of quality greenhouse systems. Anvar Kurshidov stated that they build Venlo type glass greenhouses specially for their customers by using the latest innovations in greenhouse technologies in order to achieve profitability in the longest term:
‘As a company, we continue our efforts to design the ideal greenhouses of the future in terms of ensuring environmental sustainability and to put them into operation today. In order to keep up with global trends, to ensure environmental sustainability and to ensure complete recycling, we design all greenhouse products completely in aluminium, down to the most connecting equipment. We aim to leave a minimum carbon footprint in nature by getting our energy from the sun.’
