Finike's SPPs from CW Enerji

The provisional acceptance of the roof type solar power plant (SPP) installed in the Finike district of Antalya province with a power of 194.48 kWp by CW Enerji, the leading solar panel manufacturer of the solar energy sector, was made. In the project, panel, contractor company, engineering, EPC were carried out by CW Enerji.

Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji, which operates in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, stated that they carried out a meticulous work in the Antalya Finike rooftop SPP project and said, ‘An environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge, should be used to the fullest. As a country, our solar energy potential is large enough to meet many times more than our total electrical energy need. As CW Enerji, we want to further popularise the photovoltaic sector in Türkiye with the serious investment moves we have made and continue to reveal this potential.’

CW ENERJİ/CWT260-60P modeled 748 solar energy panels and KOSTAL PIKO 20 (49)/ KOSTAL PIKO 10 (1) brand modeled 9 inverters produced by KOSTAL, Germany's most successful inverter company, were used for the 194.48 kWp roof type SPP installed on the roof of a cold storage in Finike district of Antalya province. On 12 September 2017, CW Enerji, as the contractor company, completed the roof SPP project in 7 days by performing both engineering and EPC (application). Panel, contractor company, engineering, EPC (Application) were carried out by CW Enerji . With the 194.48 kWp solar power plant installed on the roof of the cold storage, the total installed power of the solar power plants on the roof of the company was increased to 687.48. The solar power plant built on the roof of the investor is expected to pay for itself within an average of 6 years. The investor will be able to obtain 13.3$/cent for each surplus kW from the electricity produced in the solar power plant on its own roof.

CW Enerji is Türkiye's domestic solar panel manufacturer and Europe's largest solar panel production facility. In the first 4 months of 2018, the company plans to make production worth 20 million dollars in its new factories in the 1st section of AOSB with its new investments. With the additional investments they will make at the beginning of 2018, they aim to reach 920 MW/year capacity and produce as the solar panel manufacturer with the largest capacity in the Middle East.
