CW Enerji Supports OIZs

The long-awaited development regarding the amendments to the Organised Industrial Zone (OIZ) Implementation Regulation has made industrialists smile. One of the innovations that met the expectations in many areas was that the participants in OIZs can establish electricity generation facilities based on wind and solar energy on the vacant parts of their parcels!

Evaluating the amendments in the OIZ Implementation Regulation, CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz said, ‘With the amendment, it is now possible for the participant to establish a solar energy-based electricity generation facility for its own needs in the vacant parts of the industrial and service support parcel in the OIZ. From now on, solar energy-based electrical energy generation facilities will be evaluated within the scope of the support unit belonging to the participant.’

Stating that OIZs will now be able to install solar energy-based electricity generation facilities on the vacant parts of their parcels, Yılmaz pointed out that this is a very good development and said, ‘We are very pleased with this legislative change that expands our field and adds value to our work. AsCW Enerji, we always stand by the OIZs.’

Paving the way for generating electricity from solar energy in OIZs

Yılmaz stated that with the regulation, many steps were taken in areas such as the establishment of electricity generation facilities for the needs of companies in OIZs, the establishment of recycling facilities, the increase in precedent and the elimination of the grievances faced by industrialists, and said, ‘The demands of industrialists and OIZ members were taken into consideration in the amendments and their expectations were met. In other words, the face of the industrialists smiled with the amendment in the regulation.’
