CW Enerji Solar Panels entrusted to ERGO

ERGO Türkiye has signed a Product Warranty Insurance cooperation for solar panels with CW Enerji Mühendislik, Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. operating in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, which produces solar panels in Europe and the Far East as well as in Türkiye.

Environmental policies, which have an important place in the understanding of sustainable development, aim to expand the use of renewable energy resources along with the protection of natural resources. Solar energy, which is among the energy sources that can be available spontaneously within the evolution of nature, is gaining importance in Türkiye as well as globally.

In line with this vision, ERGO Türkiye has taken Solar Power Plants (SPP) Insurance, developed with the sensitivity of increasing the use of renewable energy resources, to a new dimension. ERGO Türkiye, which last year broke new ground in the sector by insuring performance losses due to insufficient irradiation, signed a cooperation with CW Enerji, a leading solar panel manufacturer among Türkiye's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises, through its Antalya Agency Kotra Sigorta. With this agreement, the efficiency of CW Enerji's solar energy panels is covered by ERGO's assurance for 25 years.

Yıldırım Türe, Member of the Executive Board of ERGO Türkiye, stated that climate change, which is among the United Nations Sustainable Development Principles, is also a part of ERGO Group's understanding of environmental responsibility and said, ‘We always adopt the principle of acting with the sustainability vision developed jointly by ERGO Group and our shareholder Munich RE. The corporate social responsibility activities of our Group, which are spread globally, are basically shaped within the framework of combating climate change.
