CW Enerji, one of the solar panel producers of Türkiye and Europe, continues to produce permanent solutions for the energy needs of investors in every sector. CW Enerji, which uses advanced technologies and makes a difference with its innovative works, equipped the roof of Ekol Logistics, one of the leading companies in the logistics sector, with a solar power plant.
Making statements on the subject, CW Enerji CEO Volkan Yılmaz said that they have signed a cooperation with Ekol Logistics, which operates in Istanbul and is among the leading logistics providers in Europe. Yılmaz stated that they installed a solar power plant with a power of 5628 kWp on the roof of the company and said, ‘CW Enerji solar carports were also used in the project. With the garage system that can generate electricity, vehicles will be protected from rain and hail in winter and sun rays in summer, while at the same time meeting their electricity needs. With this co-operation, we have signed the roof application of the logistics sector in Türkiye.’
Stating that the company has once again demonstrated the importance it attaches to the environment with the solar power plant installed, Yılmaz noted that Ekol Logistics will contribute to a sustainable future by meeting a significant portion of its energy from the sun.
Stating that hundreds of trees will be saved from being cut down with the cooperation, Yılmaz said, ‘The company will meet a significant part of its electricity needs with our solar panels. In this way, it will both benefit the nature we live in and contribute to the national economy. We are very happy and proud to realise such an important project.’
Stating that they have been working with the goal of leaving a livable nature to future generations since the day they were founded, Yılmaz continued as follows: ‘We closely follow the new technological developments in our sector and realise innovative products. We aim to meet the energy needs of the world we live in with healthy and clean resources and to popularise the use of solar energy. In this direction, we continue to equip company roofs with solar power plants.’
