CW Enerji Chairman Tarık Sarvan and CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz, who have made a name for themselves with social responsibility projects as well as trade, continue to provide material and moral support to social responsibility projects. CW Enerji management has now rolled up its sleeves for the Society for the Protection of Stray Animals (SOHAYKO), which embraces injured stray animals. The company installed solar panels on the roof of the nursing home to meet the electrical energy needs of the SOHAYKO nursing home in Şile, Istanbul, which provides treatment and care for injured stray animals without any profit motive. With the solar panel installation and solar power pack power box carried out within the scope of the social responsibility project, 24 hours of uninterrupted electrical energy was provided with the energy obtained from the sun during the day and from the batteries filled with solar energy in the evening so that 120 injured stray animals treated in the nursing home can use water, cleaning, lighting, camera systems and general needs. Knowing that stray animals have the right to live at least as much as humans and taking it as their duty to do their part for them, CW Enerji management hopes that their interest in stray animals will set an example.
CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz, who expressed his views on the subject, stated that as a company, they are home to many cats and dogs in their factories. We are involved in this project by aiming to raise awareness in society beyond helping animals on the street and in need of help. We hope that it will be successful, we will set an example and the helping hands reaching out to our stray animals, who have the right to live at least as much as humans, will gradually increase. ‘ he said.
