CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz did not forget his alma mater

-CWEnergy General Manager Volkan Yılmaz presented a solar energy set produced by CW Enerji to Akdeniz University Elmalı Vocational High School, where he graduated, for students to receive practical training.

-CWEnergy Eng. Tic. And San. Ltd. Şti. General Manager Volkan Yılmaz did not forget Akdeniz University Elmalı Vocational High School (EMYO) where he graduated. Volkan Yılmaz presented a solar energy set produced by CW Enerji to the school for EMYO students to learn how to obtain electrical energy from solar energy in a practical way.

Emphasising that solar energy is the cornerstone of renewable energy and the most important energy production source of the future, Volkan Yılmaz said, ‘We care about the young generations to develop their skills, to develop analytical, critical and questioning habits, and to enter life as innovative, creative and entrepreneurial personalities. For this reason, we presented a solar energy set to Akdeniz University EMYO students in order to transfer the theoretical knowledge they learnt theoretically at school to practice. Students will learn how a solar energy panel generates electricity from sunlight, how this generated electricity is stored in batteries with the help of a charge controller, and then how the energy accumulated in the batteries is converted from direct current to alternating current through the inverter and made usable in our lives. In this way, more equipped individuals will be trained in the sector in solar energy, which is the indispensable and most important energy production source of our future world.’

Volkan YILMAZ, General Manager of CW ENERGY. Since 2010, he has been working at CW Enerji. He graduated from Akdeniz University, Department of Electrical and Electronics, Anadolu University, Department of Business Administration and Anadolu University, Department of International Relations. He is one of the first people who started to serve in the field of photovoltaic energy in Türkiye and took an active role in providing training and certificates to nearly a thousand people in universities and within the training programmes of CW Enerji.
