CW Enerji, operating in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, completed the provisional acceptance of Meteor 06 and Meteor 70 Solar Power Plants (SPP) with a total installed capacity of 2,138 kWp in Nevşehir.
CW Enerji has completed the installation and provisional acceptance of a land-type solar power plant with a power of 2,138 kWp in Derinkuyu district of Nevşehir province in accordance with the Unlicensed Electricity Generation Regulation in the Electricity Market No. 28783 dated 02.10.2013. 7920 CWT 270-60P brand model panels and 46 HUAWEI SUN2000-36KTL inverters manufactured by CW Enerji were used in the SPP project with a power of 2,138 kWp. This SPP project, in whichCWEnerji carried out panel supply, engineering and EPC (application) as the contractor company, was completed in 42 days and the turnkey delivery was made on 12 May 2018.
The completed project, with its 2,138 kWp capacity, will be able to meet the electricity of 1,837 households with renewable energy and will support the reduction of 2,442 tonnes of CO2, 7.35 tonnes of SO2 and 2.73 tonnes of NOx gas emissions per year. The 2,138 kWp solar power plant is planned to generate an average of 9,080,876 kWp of electricity per day and 3,314,520,000 kWp of electricity per year.
This solar power plant built by the investor on its land is expected to pay for itself in an average of 6 years, while 13.3 $ / cents for each surplus kWp of electricity generated in the power plant will be able to generate income. It is also possible to generate a gross annual income of approximately 450 thousand dollars.
Tarık Sarvan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of CW Enerji Mühendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi Anonim Şirketi, which operates in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, stated that they carried out a meticulous work in the land SPP project in Derinkuyu district of Nevşehir province and said, ‘An environmentally friendly, clean energy source such as the sun, which is unlimited and free of charge, should be used to the fullest. As a country, our solar energy potential is large enough to meet many times more than our total electrical energy needs. As CW Enerji, we want to further popularise the photovoltaic sector in Türkiye with the serious investment moves we have made and continue to reveal this potential.’
