CW Enerji has completed the installation of a 4646.67 kWp solar power plant (SPP) on the roof of a company operating in Elazığ. With this solar power plant, the company will prevent 2,995,987 kg of carbon dioxide emissions annually, an amount equivalent to the removal of carbon dioxide by approximately 452 trees.
Volkan Yılmaz, CEO of CW Enerji, made statements about the project, expressing that they continue to implement environmentally friendly projects. Yılmaz emphasized that in recent years, the share of solar energy in electricity generation has been steadily increasing and that the work being done in this field is becoming increasingly important.
Yılmaz stated that they continue their efforts to raise awareness of solar energy production and the solar energy sector in Turkey. He added, "Through the projects we implement in the field of renewable energy, we offer companies the advantages of using clean energy and invest in a sustainable future. With the solar power plants we bring to life, we not only reduce energy costs for companies but also support environmental sustainability by lowering their carbon footprint. We will continue our efforts at full speed to promote the widespread use of solar energy across our country."
A Significant Contribution to the Environment
Highlighting that they will continue to actively contribute to Türkiye's renewable energy targets, Yılmaz said, "We have successfully completed the installation of a 4646.67 kWp solar power plant on the roof of a company operating in Elazığ by adding another project to our portfolio. With this eco-friendly project, the company will prevent approximately 2,995,987 kg of carbon dioxide emissions annually, providing a substantial contribution to the environment. This amount is equivalent to the carbon dioxide removed from the atmosphere by 452 trees annually."
