CW Enerji ranked 21st in the ‘TOBB Türkiye 100 - Türkiye's 100 fastest growing companies’ list, which was determined in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Türkiye (TEPAV).
Organised to draw attention to the achievements of Türkiye's fastest growing companies on a global scale and to strengthen their global connections, 7 companies from Antalya entered the list of Türkiye's 100 fastest growing companies, which is made by taking into account the two-year turnover growth of the applicant companies between 2015-2017. CW Enerji, which serves in Antalya Organised Industrial Zone, entered the TOBB Türkiye 100 list in 21st place. The company exports the solar panels it produces and the technologies it has developed at the point of electricity generation from the sun to Europe, the Balkans and Africa.
Started in 2010, the company increased its annual production capacity to 1 GW at the end of last year, which it gradually increased as a result of increasing market demands. The company, which provides transition to an automation-oriented production system in accordance with ‘Industry 4.0’ norms, aims to increase its exports to many countries of the world to 30 countries by 2019 and 40 countries by 2020 with annual production capacity increases.
CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz said in his statement that fossil fuels in energy production are increasingly being replaced by renewable energy sources. Noting that the necessary breakthroughs have become indispensable for the sustainability and growth of renewable energy, Yılmaz said that they entered the list in 21st place in Türkiye in general and 3rd place in Antalya. Noting that they are the largest panel manufacturer in Türkiye and Europe, Yılmaz said, ‘We are proud and happy to have achieved such a success in the 100th year of the National Struggle.’
Stating that they aim to increase the annual production capacity of the factory by 30 per cent every year and that they are adding a new one to their distributor network abroad every day, Volkan Yılmaz said, ‘With our young staff, we will continue to contribute our energy and strength to the economy of our country and to create employment in this sector for a more livable world. We will always continue to increase our share of domestic resources in the energy sector through investment in renewable energy by producing innovative products with our environmentalist projects, original designs and R&D activities, and to contribute to the achievement of our country's solar energy targets.’
