CW Enerji continues to take steps for a more livable world without slowing down. Installing solar power plants (SPPs) on the roofs of factories in various parts of Türkiye, CW Enerji also put its signature on the roof of a company operating in Kayseri.
CW Enerji CEO Volkan Yılmaz stated that the installation of the solar power plant on the roof of the company has been completed and said, “The rooftop SPP project with a power of 22027.59 kWp, which we have completed the application, will save approximately 2085 trees per year and prevent emissions equivalent to 18,580,112 kg of carbon dioxide. The company will now meet its energy needs with the solar power plant installed by CW Enerji.”
Yılmaz noted that with the GES established, companies meet a significant amount of their electricity needs with solar panels and also contribute to the national economy as well as the benefits provided to the environment.
Stating that the transition to solar power plants should accelerate, especially to combat the climate crisis, Yılmaz said, “Many institutions and organizations from the private sector to the public sector have started to turn towards SPP investments. Investments are being made to reduce energy costs, which is one of the biggest expense items of production with solar panels. At the same time, companies that want to reduce their carbon footprint and increase the share of clean energy in production processes contribute to this process with SPP.”
