CW Enerji, one of the solar panel manufacturers, cooperated with Bursa Organised Industrial Zones Union Energy Production Inc (BOSBIR). Within the scope of the cooperation, BOSBİR purchased a 3.5 MW solar power plant (SPP ) in Amasya and made an investment of 4 million dollars. The signatures related to the investment were signed by Ersan Özsoy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of BOSBİR Enerji AŞ, Hüseyin Durmaz, Deputy Chairman, and Volkan Yılmaz, General Manager of CW Enerji.
CW Enerji General Manager Volkan Yılmaz, who made statements on the subject, said that they cooperate with companies operating in almost every sector. Stating that they also work with Organised Industrial Zones, Yılmaz said, ‘Finally, we cooperated with BOSBİR. Within the scope of our cooperation, BOSBİR decided to purchase a 3.5 MW solar power plant in Amasya and made this investment of 4 million dollars. We have signed our signatures regarding the investment.’
Stating that the main purpose of BOSBİR is to invest in renewable energy, Yılmaz noted that the first investment in Amasya is an important issue.
Stating that the need and interest in renewable energy sources has increased in recent years, Yılmaz said, ‘Solar energy, which has a very important place among renewable energy sources in the world and in Türkiye, is an energy that is never depleted, has no harm to the environment and costs much less than fossil fuels. For this reason, especially in recent years, interest in SPPshas increased a lot, ‘he said.
Stating that the share of solar energy in electricity generation has been increasing day by day in recent years, Yılmaz noted that the studies carried out in this field are gaining importance. Yılmaz stated that solar energy is preferred because it is extremely easy to use and environmentally friendly and said, ‘The costs inSPPsare lower than other energy sources. In addition, the investment amortises itself in a short time. For this reason, there is a lot of interest in SPPsin OIZs. As CW Enerji, the leading company of solar energy systems, we always stand by OIZs.’
