Another Environmentally Friendly Step from CW Enerji
  • CW Enerji has signed an agreement with a company in Şanlıurfa and completed the installation of a solar power plant on the company’s roof. With this SPP, the company will prevent the emission of 878,954 kg of carbon dioxide annually, equivalent to the amount absorbed by approximately 133 trees each year.

Thanks to CW Enerji panels, another company will now source its energy from the sun. After reaching an agreement with a company in Şanlıurfa, CW Enerji completed the installation of a solar power plant (SPP) on the company's roof.

Speaking about the project, CW Enerji's CEO Volkan Yılmaz emphasized the growing global energy demand and the increasing importance of environmentally friendly and sustainable energy sources. Highlighting that solar energy, as an environmentally friendly energy source, is the key to a sustainable future, Yılmaz said, "Climate change, along with the damage and limitations of fossil fuels, is driving the global interest in renewable energy sources. In this regard, solar energy has great potential as a clean and sustainable energy source. Solar power plants offer a significant advantage as both an environmentally friendly and economically beneficial method of energy production.”

Contribution to the fight against climate change

Yılmaz stated that solar power plants minimize environmental damage by reducing carbon emissions, noting that unlike fossil fuels, no harmful gases are released into the atmosphere during the generation of solar energy. "Thus, air quality is preserved, and a meaningful contribution is made in the fight against climate change," he said. "Solar power plants play a critical role in building a sustainable future. In this framework, CW Enerji continues to equip company roofs with SPPs. We signed an agreement with a company in Şanlıurfa, and the solar power plant installation has been completed. With the SPP, the company will prevent the emission of 878,954 kg of carbon dioxide annually, which is equivalent to the amount removed from the atmosphere by approximately 133 trees per year."
