CW Enerji continues to work in the field of sustainability with its innovative and environmentalist approach. By completing the installation of a solar power plant (SPP) on the roof of a factory operating in Antalya, the company has taken another step towards a sustainable future.
CW Enerji CEO Volkan Yılmaz said that they aim to reduce the environmental impact with each solar power plant they complete the installation of. Underlining that environmental awareness and working for a sustainable future have become very important today, Yılmaz said, ‘We aim to minimise environmental impact and increase energy efficiency with the use of solar energy. With the installation of solar power plants, companies meet a significant portion of their energy needs from a renewable source and show their sensitivity to the environment. SPPs also show the determination of companies to reduce their carbon footprint and move towards sustainability goals.’
Stating that the solar power plant investment is an important step not only to increase energy efficiency but also to promote environmental sustainability, Yılmaz continued as follows: ‘We are rapidly continuing to equip company roofs with our solar panels. We shook hands with a company operating in Antalya and completed the installation of a 2251.2 kWp solar power plant on the roof of the company. With the power plant, the company will prevent carbon emissions of approximately 1,505,242 kg carbon dioxide equivalent per year. At the same time, it will contribute to clean energy by saving approximately 227 trees per year.’
