$4.8 Million Contract Between CW Enerji and Berteks Tekstil

• CW Enerji continues to sign SPP projects at full speed. A contract was signed between the company and Berteks Tekstil A.Ş. for the installation of a ground-mounted solar power plant valued at USD 4.8 million, excluding VAT. CW Enerji CEO Volkan Yılmaz expressed his satisfaction with signing another new contract and said that the project in question is planned to be completed by the end of the last quarter of 2024.

CW Enerji continues to realise solar power plant (SPP) projects at full speed. Adding a new company to its list of agreements, CW Enerji signed a contract valued at USD 4.8 million, excluding VAT, to install a new ground-mounted solar power plant.

CW Enerji CEO Volkan Yılmaz expressed his satisfaction with for signing another new SPP project. Stating that they have implemented successful projects with many companies so far, Yılmaz said, ‘In this context, we will realize another successful project. Between our company and Berteks Tekstil A.Ş., we have signed a contract in the amount of 4,800,000.00 USD excluding VAT in order to install a land-type solar power plant.’

Yılmaz stated that they submitted the PDP notification for the project on July 26, 2024, and noted that the project is planned to be completed by the end of the fourth quarter of 2024.

Stating that our country has made significant breakthroughs in the field of renewable energy, as in many other fields, in recent years, Yılmaz said: “We see that Türkiye is gradually increasing its installed capacity based on renewable energy sources. There has been significant progress in this field. Asım Berk Noyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Berteks Tekstil A.Ş., said that they decided to install a ground-mounted solar power plant in line with their environmentally and human-oriented approach. With this awareness, as a company, we will realize our solar power plant as part of our goal to leave a livable environment for future generations. This project is a very important step towards both protecting our environment and meeting our energy needs in a sustainable way.”

Noyan added that they are happy to contribute to the protection of the environment by producing cleaner and more environmentally friendly energy.
